Busy Week at EMP

Been a busy week at Emotional Moments Photography with two weddings booked together several requests for sittings in the studio and a 30th birthday party to cover as well.
Good luck with your planning and preparation to Sophie and Anthony and Charlotte & Danny. I love doing weddings. Everyone is dressed up to the nines, happy, relaxed and just out for a great time. Bring em on.
On Sunday Debra and myself went to the NEC to the "Focused on Imaging" photographic show. We sourced out some local suppliers for wedding books, acrylic products and a fantastic framing company in Stone, Staffs that we hope to do business with.
Dont forget Mothers day is fast approaching so give us a call and get booked in for a sitting. Think how much your mother would love a beautiful picture of you or your children. Probably not as traditional as a bunch of flowers but much longer lasting and treasured.

Its been a busy few weeks at the new studio with our first half a dozen sittings with more to come this week.

The new leaflets business cards and posters are on their way with our special offer of a session fee of just £15.00. This is for unlimited time and as many outfit changes as you want to bring along.

Included in your session is a DVD of all the photos in your sitting like the one above of my beautiful grandaughter Taylor Jane. Or, if you prefer, a 10" x 8" print of your favourite image from the session.

All Set for our first sitting

We are now all set for our first sitting on Friday at our new studio in Castle Bromwich.
Debra and myself worked all over the weekend to complete the renovation and this week will be fitting it out with backdrops and lighting.
Over the next few weeks we will continue the work to personalise the studio.
We will be contacting the people who have been in touch about a sitting but there is still room for more. Next step is to revamp the website so keep watching the blog and I'll let you know when the website is ready.

And the wall comes tumbling down

Its been quite a few days at Emotional Moments with work starting on the new studio above Head To Toe Hair Salon in Castle Bromwich.
My brother in Law Dave worked all day Friday knocking the wall out, relocating electic points and making good the plaster work.
On Saturday Debra and myself prepared the walls and ceiling and will continue with the work this week.
A big thank you to our hosts at the hair salon Elsie, Laura, Courtney and Jodie who have been so helpful throughout the week.
Next the studio need painting out and new laminate floor laying before the fitting out of all the equipment. We hope to be up and running in the next two weeks.
In response to my invitation for models we have been inundated although we still need new born babies and pregnant moms to come forward. Know anyone? Give us a call.

Studio coming soon!

At last, after months of searching, Emotional Moments can now look forward to moving into its first dedicated studio.

We have teamed up Elsie & Laura at Head to Toe hairdressers in Castle Bromwich.

The builders start work next week to convert the rooms above Head to Toe into a fully operational photography studio.

Also on site is a tanning studio and a make up and beauty studio so we will be working to link the services together for the benefit of our clients.

Also the website at emotionalmoments.co.uk is being revamped. You will notice many changes in the next few weeks with studio opening offers and promotions.

Watch this space. I will update it as and when!

Its that time of year again where I refresh my portfolio so I am looking for volunteers.

All volunteers will receive a free 10" X 8" from the session as well as the chance to purchase other prints or products at reduced prices.

Last year the places were taken up very quickly so dont miss your chance.
